At Afsoo, your safety and comfort are our top priorities. For selected beauty and aesthetic treatments, a patch test is required 24–48 hours before your appointment. This ensures you do not have an allergic reaction to the products used.

🔸 What is a Patch Test?

A patch test is a quick check to see if your skin reacts to certain ingredients found in tinting, waxing, or aesthetic treatments. A small amount of product is applied to the skin—usually behind the ear or on the inner arm—and monitored for any reaction over 24–48 hours.

🔸 Why is it important?

Even high-quality products can cause a reaction in some individuals. Reactions may include redness, itching, or swelling. A patch test helps us prevent discomfort or serious skin reactions during your actual treatment.

🔸 What to Expect

A small amount of the product will be applied in a safe area.
Leave it on and monitor for any changes such as itching, redness, or irritation.
Avoid washing the area or applying creams until the test period is complete.

🔸 Please do not:

Book treatment without a completed patch test (unless explicitly exempted by a senior therapist).
Ignore any reaction, even mild. If anything unusual occurs, please contact us before proceeding with your treatment.
